Samara painter (b. 1907, Vinnovka, Ulyanovsk region); studied under D.I. Arkhangelsky and A.A. Plastov; from 1947, a regular participant in republican, zonal and regional exhibitions, and in the exhibition activities of the Samara Union of Artists.

Fyodor Vasilyevich Antonov (1904, Tambov — 1994, Moscow) — Soviet painter, People's Artist of the RSFSR (1975); works held in the Tretyakov Gallery and the Russian Museum. «Into Battle!» (1950, oil on canvas, 132×277 cm) — a large-scale multi-figure genre composition.

Painter (1955–2013), worked in Saratov; referenced in materials of the Radishchev Museum.

Painter of the Samara school (1930–2010), member of the Union of Artists of Russia from 1984; worked primarily in landscape, his style associated with the Severe Style and its characteristic analytical restraint.

Alexander Alexandrovich Zhidkov (1935–2020) — member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (from 1968), Honoured Artist of the Republic of Mordovia (2017); graduated from the Savitsky Penza Art College (1961); works are held in regional museums across Russia.

Grigory Yefimovich Zinger (1914–1995) — painter, veteran of World War II with the Northern and Pacific Fleets; moved to Kuibyshev in 1960, painted landscapes and participated in regional Union of Artists exhibitions; founder of the first children's art school in Kuibyshev (1961), known as «Zinger's School».

Painter (b. 10 January 1984, Luhansk); impressionist, landscapist and master of still life; graduated from the Luhansk Art College, then studied at the Kharkiv Academy of Design and Arts; 2011 gold medal from the International Foundation «Cultural Heritage» (St Petersburg).

Penza painter (b. 1976), member of the Union of Artists of Russia from 2003, laureate of the Penza Region Governor's Prize; works primarily in landscape, has exhibited in Samara and Togliatti.

Painter (1925–2007), member of the Union of Artists of the USSR from 1962. Graduated from the Moscow Art College (1948–1952). Works held in museums in Kostroma, Bryansk, Ivanovo and Tashkent.

Valery Fyodorovich Makarov (1947–2010), painter, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1978). Graduated from the K.A. Savitsky Penza Art College; lived and worked in Saransk. Works held in the Mordovian Republican Museum of Fine Arts named after S.D. Erzya.

Painter, b. 1952, Saratov; graduated from the Saratov Art College (1976); member of the Union of Artists of Russia from 1998. Works in Balakovo.

Artist unattributed. «Samarkand» (1960s) — a Central Asian subject; attribution is under research.

Soviet painter (1929–1998); member of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR from 1964, Honoured Artist of the RSFSR (1980). Participant in regional, all-union, zonal and international exhibitions; works in the Penza Picture Gallery, the Orenburg Art Museum, and in the funds of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Union of Artists of Russia.

Painter (1950–2010, Samara), graduated from the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts in monumental and decorative art (1980); works held in private collections and galleries in Russia, Europe and America.

Russian painter (b. 1956, Ulyanovsk), People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2021), full member of the Russian Academy of Arts; creator of the Dream Vision style — portraits of world celebrities, politicians and cultural figures.

Landscape painter (1952–2003), member of the Union of Artists of Russia; worked in the Samarskaya Luka — the Zhiguli hills became the central theme of his art.

V. Tereshchenko — the artist whose signature appears on the canvas; represented in the collection by the monumental work «The Builders» (240×200 cm, oil on canvas): a group of helmeted workers on a construction site, framed by steel structures — trusses and a crane.

In the collection — «A Warm Day» (oil on canvas, 156×185 cm; Togliatti, per vendor). A second known work — «The Glassblowers» (1963, cardboard, mixed media, 75×95 cm).

Painter (1927–2012), Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation (2000), member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia; worked in Kuibyshev (Samara) from 1957, created over 1,000 works; renowned for his landscapes of the Zhiguli hills and the Volga, with works held in the State Tretyakov Gallery and the Russian Museum.

Painter and graphic artist of Kuibyshev (1923–1999), World War II veteran, member of the Union of Artists of Russia (from 1967); exponent of Soviet Realism and Impressionism, landscape painter. Works held in the Samara Art Museum and the London Picture Gallery.

Painter, b. 1976, Samara. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Togliatti State University. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 2007. Works in landscape, still life and portrait; style combines elements of Impressionism with expressive handling.

Painter, 1934–2010, born in Ufa. Graduated from the Savitsky Penza Art College (1962), member of the Union of Artists of the USSR from 1967. Worked in Ufa (1962–1975), then in Moscow. Works held in the Bashkir State Art Museum named after M.V. Nesterov.
